With the Times Square idiot and the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the news is not spending too much time on another huge issue-- the flooding in Nashville. It's really, really ugly.
I haven't been able to find much, but I have read that a couple of groups are trying to help out animals and pet owners and are seeking donations. One is Metro Animal Care and Control. Another is at the Nashville Humane Association.* Anyone else heard of any other efforts?
* And of course for people, there's the local Red Cross chapter.
